Rice Krispies Treats

One of the first desserts a kid can learn to make. Portable, and does not require an oven.

Rice Krispies Treats (good for hot days)

Need: 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Coat with cooking spray or other grease (crisco)

Ingredients:
4 cups miniature marshmallows
3 TBL  butter
6 cups  Rice Krispies cereal

Directions:
~In large pan melt butter over low heat.
~Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
~Add Rice Krispies cereal and stir until well coated. DO THIS QUICKLY
~ Put a little water on your hands before placing the mixture in the pan and use a spatula or waxed paper to evenly press the mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray.

~Cool then cut into 2-inch squares. Best if served the same day.
